Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for The Joe Walker Communication Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements;

1.Be accepted or enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university

2. Declare a major in communications, journalism, broadcasting, radio, or television production

3. Demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

4. Submit an essay detailing their passion for the field of broadcasting and how they envision using their education to impact the industry.

Preference may be given to students who demonstrate financial need or have overcome significant personal challenges to pursue their educational goals.
